Three ways care takes shape
Whether you're starting from scratch or transferring care, the structure stays the same: a real evaluation, a plan you actually understand, and medication management only if it earns its place.

Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation
A first appointment that is deliberately long. We go through what's been happening, how long it's been going on, your sleep, health and family history, what you've already tried, and what you want back. Nothing is named until the whole picture makes sense to both of us.
What to expect
Expect about an hour of conversation by secure video, from a private place of your choosing. You'll leave with a diagnosis we've discussed openly, a written summary in plain language, and clear next steps — including what to do if medication is not the right answer for you.
- 60 minutes
- Secure video
- Written summary
- Open diagnosis discussion

Ongoing Medication Management
If medication belongs in your plan, it is chosen carefully and explained fully: what it's for, when you should notice a difference, and what we'll be watching for. Adjustments happen in conversation — the aim is the smallest effective dose that lets you feel like yourself.
What to expect
Follow-up visits are typically 25 to 30 minutes, scheduled around work and family. We review how things are going, side effects and tolerability, sleep and functioning, and keep prescriptions current — with refills handled between visits when needed.
- 25–30 minutes
- Dose reviews
- Side-effect monitoring
- Refills between visits

Diagnostic Evaluation
A focused assessment for when what you need most is clarity — depression, anxiety, adjustment disorder, life transitions, ADHD, OCD, or PMDD. We look at the full history, consider what else could explain your symptoms, and separate what's happening from what isn't.
What to expect
You'll be asked about symptoms, timing, functioning and history, and you'll get a straight explanation of what the assessment suggests and what to do next. If a different kind of care is a better fit, we'll say so rather than keep you in the wrong pathway.
- Focused assessment
- Plain-language diagnosis
- Clear next steps
